| United Lands Three on LTC First-Team All-Conference Volleyball Team |
POSTED 9:45 a-m 11/3/09 Three United volleyball players have earned first-team All-Lincoln Trail Conference honors.
The Red Storm, at 36-0 and playing in the semifinals of the Lewistown Sectional Tuesday night, have two additional players on the second-team.
The first-team selections from United are Gina Long, Mollie Murdock and Sommer Foster.
Ridgewood, the sports cooperative between Alwood and Cambridge, has two first-team representatives. They are Stephanie Williams and Amanda Kruger.
Princeville and Wethersfield also have two first-team all-conference members: Tessa Swedman and Shelby Steger of Wethersfield along with Caitlyn Godfrey and Alivia Stoller of Princeville.
Rounding out the first-team are Jordan Jackson of Annawan, Natalie Turner of Stark County and Taylor Cupps of West Central.
The second-team has Katie Kaywood and Carissa Youngquist of United, Sarah DeShepper of Rowva, Michelle Williams and Ashley Kruger of Ridgewood, Chloe McIntire of Galva, Emily Frieden of Mercer County, Paige Milburn of Stark County, Ali Stern of Wethersfield, Bethany Dorrington and Melissa Storm of Princeville and Lauren Spivey and Chloe VanOpdorp of Annawan.
Named Lincoln Trail Conference honorable mention were Grace Cleair of Rowva, Jacinda Reighard of West Central, Macy Droege of Galva, Alli Kellogg of Mercer County and Moira Dwyer of Princeville. |
