Cutler Says Bears Offense Needs To Pick Up Slack
LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- Jay Cutler says it's up to the offense now for the Chicago Bears.

They're banged up on both sides of the ball, but the defense might be without its leader for the remainder of the season with Brian Urlacher sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Cutler says the offense has to ``find a way'' to pick up the slack.

The defense led the way early on as the Bears jumped out to a big start. The schedule took a tougher turn and the injuries mounted. It's added up to three losses in four games, and suddenly, the playoffs don't seem like such a lock for the Bears (8-4). Things could really get dicey with a loss at Minnesota this week.
