Quinn Meets with Constitutional Officers
Governor Pat Quinn had an opportunity to sit down with all of Illinois' constitutional officers.

Quinn met on Friday afternoon with Secretary of State Jesse White, State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, Comptroller Dan Hynes and Attorney General Lisa Madigan.

Madigan joked that it had been a long time since all of them had been in the same room as a sitting governor. She says the last time was July 1, 2003.

All those present said they look forward to working with Quinn on the problems facing the state. Illinois has a deficit of roughly $5 billion dollars.

Quinn said the meeting was to show Illinoisans a message of unity. He says he plans similar meetings in the coming weeks and months.
