Lawyers Say Illinois Residents Accused of 2004 Arizona Bombing Had Rights Violated
PHOENIX (AP) -- Lawyers for two alleged white supremacists charged in a 2004 bombing that injured a black city official in Scottsdale, Ariz., want their clients moved from a county jail to a federal prison. The attorneys say the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office violated their rights.

Twin brothers Dennis and Daniel Mahon are charged in a bombing that injured Don Logan, Scottsdale's diversity director at the time. A secretary also was hurt.

The brothers were arrested June 25 at their home in Davis Junction, Ill. They have pleaded not guilty.

Dennis Mahon's lawyer, Deborah Williams, says in a court filing that sheriff's deputies have repeatedly denied her client access to pertinent documents in his case and violated attorney-client privilege by reading them.

A federal judge is scheduled to decide Thursday whether to move the brothers.
