GOP Gubernatorial Hopefuls Debate Wednesday Night
CHICAGO (AP) -- The Republican race for Illinois governor has heated up with sniping among the candidates who are meeting in another debate.

A crowded field of GOP hopefuls faces off Wednesday night during a forum at WLS-TV in Chicago.

The candidates were quick to criticize each other and point out potential political vulnerabilities at a debate earlier this week.

Republicans want to take back the governor's mansion after eight years of Democratic rule.

The seven GOP candidates are state Sens. Bill Brady and Kirk Dillard, former attorney general Jim Ryan, Chicago businessman Andy McKenna and DuPage County Board chairman Bob Schillerstrom. Also running are businessman Adam Andrzejewski and communications consultant Dan Proft.
