New Manager Hired for Galesbug Community Chorus
The Galesburg Community Chorus has announced that Kathy Dillin of Galesburg has been hired as Manager.

Dillin recently moved to Galesburg from Des Moines, IA, where she worked as the Sales Area Manager for Younkers. She is a Galesburg native and graduate of Galesburg High School. She brings to the position over ten years experience in management and sales. Dillin replaces Jimmy Stewart, who has served as Manager for the past two years and has accepted a job in the Chicago area.

"Kathy comes to us with a strong managerial and business background," GCC President Linda Hinrichs said. "We're pleased that she also happens to be 'home-grown.' She is a GHS graduate who has worked in various parts of the country, but has chosen to return to her roots. We look forward to the contribution she will make to the Galesburg Community Chorus in keeping it the respected organization it has become and in helping it to grow and serve our community."

The Galesburg Community Chorus was founded in 1945 and is celebrating its 65th year of existence. Its mission is to share the gift of great choral music, inspire new generations with the love of singing, and to broaden their reach to all people.
