Correction Regarding Story on Campaign Contributions to Giannoulias
The Illinois Radio Network misstated the relationship between State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, a U.S. Senate candidate, and convicted political fixer Tony Rezko. Giannoulias has not received campaign contributions from Rezko.

Rezko has had a business relationship with Broadway Bank, owned by the Giannoulias family, which provided financing for one of Rezko's Chicago condominium deals that didn't materialize. Rezko also backed Giannoulias' brother for appointment by then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich to the Illinois Finance Authority. Rezko also bounced several checks to casinos that were drawn on his Broadway Bank account. There is no indication of any illegal activity per se in the relationship between Rezko and Broadway Bank.

The Illinois Radio Network received incorrect information regarding campaign contributions, and regrets the error.
