Army Says Child Porn Charges Against Galesburg Soldier Not Due to Family Photos
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) -- Army Master Sgt. Thomas Clementson says he can't say what's behind a child pornography charge against Illinois Army National Guard Specialist Billy Miller. But Clementson says it isn't family photos of a young relative.

Miller is from Galesburg. He has been charged with possession of child pornography and disobeying an order outlawing possession of pornography by U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

Miller is part of an Illinois guard unit that came home last August. He's been held over in the country and attached to an Army unit while his case plays out.

Ronald and Terri Miller say they believe their son was charged over innocent pictures of a 4-year-old girl to whom he's related that his mother e-mailed him. They're also upset the Army won't let him come back to the United States to face trial.

Miller faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
