Dawn Clark Netsch Endorses Hynes
A former state comptroller has endorsed the current comptroller in the race for governor.

Dawn Clark Netsch, says Dan Hynes has been a "straight shooter" and an "independent voice" since he began in politics.

"Hynes is a competent manager who doesn't stick his head in the sand," Netsch said. "He has credibility when it comes to the state budget and out fiscal mess. He's the candidate to who has the skills needed to help us recover from this dire situation."

Netsch, former state comptroller and onetime unsuccessful Democratic candidate for governor, says Hynes is an independent reformer that Illinois needs in Springfield.

Hynes says he is "humbled" to have Netsch's support.

Hynes is challenging Gov. Pat Quinn in the Democratic primary for governor.
