Several Arrested Following Suspected Stabbing Incident
FIRST REPORTED 12:00pm 1/25/10 Over a half-dozen people have been arrested in recent days as the result of an investigation into a suspected stabbing incident at a South Henderson Street home a week ago.

Galesburg Police say among those arrested are 18-year old Ieshia Paul-Edwards, 17-year old Larry Carter , 20-year old Jamie Campbell, and 17-year old Unree Moultrie the Fourth, all of Galesburg, and 23-year old Jamotrio Campbell of Rock Island, along with at least three juveniles.

All face charges of Mob Action, Robbery, and Aggravated Battery, while one of the juveniles faces a charge of Motor Vehicle Theft, and several also face Obstructing Justice charges.

Police were called to a home on Monmouth Boulevard around 3am last Sunday, where they found two people in the home injured -- 21-year old Nathan Nicholson who was believed to have been stabbed, and 20-year old Jonathan Scott, who had injuries due to being hit in the face with a frying pan.

Officers were later directed to a home in the three-hundred block of South Henderson Street where the alleged assault happened.

A homeowner told officers her daughter's boyfriend had people at the home, and had ordered them to leave when she left to pick someone up.

When she returned, the homeowner told investigators, the home had been ransacked.

Officers later determined an S.U.V. had been stolen but later recovered, along with Scott's cell phone and cash.

All eight people arrested face appearances in Knox County Circuit Court.
