Feds Willing to Give Early Look at Blago Evidence
CHICAGO (AP) -- Prosecutors are agreeing to give former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's attorneys an early look at some of the evidence in store for his corruption trial, but not all the evidence they want or as soon as they want.

Prosecutors also said in court papers filed Friday that some items should never be turned over -- such as a list of witnesses or a bill of particulars.

Blagojevich is due to start trial July 3, charged with scheming to sell or trade President Obama's former Senate seat.

His lawyers say they need an early glimpse of the evidence.

Judge James Zagel may decide if they get it at a hearing set for Jan. 27.
