Coroner's Not Conclusive on Suicide
It is not clear if the death of a woman in September was an accident or suicide.

But according to Knox County Coroner Mark Thomas, it is clear Terri Budde died from drowning in Galesburg.

Last year WGIL reported on a story a Wisconsin woman was found dead in a wooded area behind St. Mary's Hospital September 13th.

According to reports at the time, the 44 year old Budde was taken to the hospital after threatening to light her car on fire in Woodhull in order to kill herself.

Budde left the emergency room that evening while receiving treatment and police were called to search for the woman who was mentally unstable.

Budde was found deceased face down in a shallow creek the next day.
A coroners' inquest finds Budde died of drowning but it is not clear whether Budde intended to commit suicide or not.

The inquests state's Budde's family was contacted and said Budde had had mental issues for years.

An autopsy at the time of Budde's death shows she had no alcohol in her system, but also had not taken her medication recently either.
