Man Charged with Unwanted Sexual Contact on Plane
HONOLULU (AP) -- A man is awaiting a court appearance after being arrested on federal charges that he made unwanted sexual contact on a plane bound for Honolulu.

An FBI statement on Thursday said Benjamin David Beyer of Winnebago, Ill., was arrested Wednesday on the Big Island for allegedly touching an unidentified woman during a Jan. 11 flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu.

The 30 year old Beyer is to appear in federal court in Honolulu on Thursday.
According to the complaint, Beyer said he drank four beers before boarding. The complaint contends that during the flight, Beyer repeatedly touched the passenger sitting next to him even after she told him to stop.

His lawyer at the federal public defender's office didn't immediately return a call seeking comment.
