Nielsen Ratings Say Bears a Big Hit this Season
CHICAGO (AP) -- Even if they don't win the Super Bowl, and even if they don't even win tomorrow's NFC championship against the Green Bay Packers, the Nielsen ratings report says the Chicago Bears are still big winners.

According to a report in the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears have been a bigger hit on television this year than they were during the 2006 season, when they made it all the way to the Super Bowl, but lost.

The Nielsens say the average rating for the 16 regular season Bears games in 2010 was more than three full ratings points higher than the 2006 season average in the Chicago market. The ratings for the last four games this were all much better than the last four regular season games in 2006.
