Public Forum for Monmouth-Roseville Parents Tuesday Night
The Monmouth-Roseville School District is looking for public input as the school board there looks to sort-of guide the school district's future in the coming years.

District-238 is hosting a public forum regarding its strategic plan Tuesday evening from seven to nine at the Monmouth-Roseville High School Auditorium.

The District says it will report to the public progress on the development of its strategic plan, as well as seek the public's ideas on how to further develop it.

The forum will also feature a guest speaker. The District says a superintendent in the Wheaton Community Unit School District, Doctor Margo Sorrick, will speak.

Sorrick spoke during a recent Illinois Association of School Boards meeting about how that district adopted a plan to make sure their students have the skills needed to compete in the 21st century, and will reprise that speech tonight.

District 238 officials say parents and district employees, along with members of the general public, are all invited to attend tonight's forum.
