Two of Four Meth Suspect Appear in Court
Two people arrested during a meth bust last week made their first court appearances Wednesday.

23 year old Amy Vanvoltenburg of Galesburg appeared before Knox County Circuit Court Judge Scott Shiplett.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for February 8th in Vanvoltenburg's case. She faces Class X felony charges of participation in methamphetamine manufacturing, aggravated participation in meth manufacturing, unlawful participation in meth production, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Vanvoltenburg also faces Class 2 felony charges of meth related child endangerment and possession of meth manufacturing chemicals.

21 year old Ashley Wilson face the same charges and was present in court as well Wednesday and also scheduled for a February 8th preliminary hearing.

Wilson and Vanvoltenburg were arrested Friday morning along with 27 year old Chad Vanvoltenburg and 49 year old Christine Vanvoltenburg after city and state police searched their home and found drugs and two guns.
