Veterans to Honor Lincoln's 202nd Birthday
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Abraham Lincoln's tomb will be visited on his 202nd birthday by two veterans' organizations.

The 77th annual National Pilgrimage to Lincoln Tomb by the American Legion will be Feb. 12 at 10:30 a.m. Legion posts from across Illinois will place wreaths at the burial chamber.

The American Legion national commander will address the crowd at 11 a.m. The Sound Celebration Chorus, part of Sweet Adelines International, will sing patriotic songs.

The 64th annual Pilgrimage of the Veterans of Foreign Wars will be at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 12. The service at the tomb will feature a eulogy for Lincoln with military honors following.
