2 Face Felony Charges in Party Game Death
CREST HILL, Ill. (AP) -- Police in the Will County town of Crest Hill say two people are facing reckless conduct charges in the death of a Romeoville rap artist who took a punch in the face on a bet during a garage party last fall.

Authorities say 25-year-old John Powell, whose recording name was "Fatboy," was at the Sept. 25 party, and allowed himself to be punched by 21-year-old Tiffany Starz of Joliet on a $5 bet. Witnesses say he took the money and talked with other guests for several minutes before collapsing.

Doctors say Powell died of bleeding in the brain.
Arrest warrants were issued last week for Startz and the man who proposed the bet, 27-year-old Jimmy Mounts of Romeoville.

The (Joliet) Herald-News says both are now free on bond.
