Man Arrested for String of Robberies
Authorities in Warren County say they think they've solved a string of robberies that occurred at local homes the last couple of months.

Warren County State's Attorney "Chip" Algren announced Wednesday that authorities on January 6th arrested 49-year old Randall Bell of Monmouth. Algren has charged him with nine counts of Residential Burglary, all Class-X felony offenses.

Bell, Algren says, after search and arrest warrants were obtained and executed by Monmouth Police and a State Police SWAT Team at Bell's South C Street home.

There, he says, dozens of items believed to be stolen from homes in Monmouth and rural Warren County were found.

Authorities want anyone who may have been a victim of a residential burglary to call Monmouth Police and make an appointment to view the stolen property. Algren says more charges could be filed because of that.

Meantime, Bell has been appointed a public defender, is being held in the Warren County Jail on 250-thousand dollars bond, and he'll be back in court January 31st for a preliminary hearing.
