Heavy Testimony from Victim in Knox County Assault and Kidnapping Trial
A Victoria man facing kidnapping, battery, and assault charges. among others, heard more from the victim in day two of testimony in his Knox County trial.

47-year-old Bill Pollock is accused of stealing and causing nearly $9,000 in damage to his ex-girlfriend's pickup truck last July. He's also suspected of kidnapping and sexually assaulting the victim at her Williamsfield home a week after.

The victim spent the better part of two days on the witness stand, as the defense cross examined, and re-crossed. Thursday, Judge Paul Mangieri called several recesses to aide the victim through cross examination.

The victim cried uncontrollably at times as Defense Attorney Martin Dewulf questioned the validity of her testimony. Dewulf accused the victim of not being able to think for herself when Pollock allegedly abducted and raped her the night of July 16th.

When Dewulf asked the victim why she didn't obtain a rape kit or see a doctor the following morning, the victim shouted, quote, "I've been touched enough, I didn't want to be touched anymore."

The victim said she informed only the police because she knew only they could provide protection.

Court resumes at 9am Friday morning. With the prosecution intending to call at least five more witnesses, it would seem jury deliberations won't begin until Monday.
