Drug Arrest Made at Amtrak Station
Galesburg police have made another arrest of someone on felony drug charges after the got off an Amtrak train in Galesburg.

Police reports indicate officers made the bust Wednesday afternoon at the Galesburg Amtrak Depot. They say 20-year old Debrece Shield departed a train with a police K-9 alerted officers to the man's luggage.

Officers say inside the found 237 grams of cannabis -- or, about a half-pound of it. It was located inside a Ziploc bag. They say they also found new empty baggies inside.

Shields was taken to the Knox County Jail and charged with Possession of Cannabis, and Possession with Intent to Deliver, both felonies.

Shields awaits future court hearings.

The arrest came on the same day another man arrested on similar charges last year was sentenced to some time in the Knox County Jail after pleading guilty to his crime.
