Youth Commission Has Hard Time With Survey
The Youth Commission is still looking for organizations who offer youth activities to take their survey.

The Commission has been trying to compile as much data about youth activities around the area for some time now and have only been able to collect around 23 surveys.

Commission Chair Sue Cunningham says she knows of more places out there they'd like to see take their survey.

She tells WGIL the goal is to provide the community with a one stop shop for youth activities.

"So if you have a child that is in junior high, for all the different activities for junior high then you would go to the City site under the junior high level and it would pull up all the different agencies."

Cunningham says the Commission is trying to give parents and youth easy access to activities around town.

She says there's a ton of stuff for the youth to do in Galesburg but unfortunately not many people know about the activities.
