Arrest Made in Jimmy John's Robbery
UPDATED 2:41pm 1/3/13 A Galesburg man police say is homeless is accused of holding up a downtown restaurant Thursday morning.

Galesburg Police say 29-year old Nathaniel McPherrin faces a preliminary charge of Aggravated Armed Robbery.

Police say officers responded to the Jimmy John's restaurant on East Main Street just before 9am Thursday for an armed robbery that had just occurred.

Investigators accuse McPherrin of entering the restaurant, displaying a handgun, and demanding money.

It's not clear if McPherrin was arrested at the restaurant or somewhere else nearby, nor is it clear how much money -- if any -- was taken.

McPherrin is being held in the Knox County Jail pending further court appearances.
