Henderson Co. Deputies Arrest Woman on Felony Drug Charge
A Stronghurst woman is facing a felony drug charge after a Henderson County sheriff's deputy stopped her vehicle.

Sheriff Mark Lumbeck says 45-year old Deborah Fields is lodged in the Henderson County Jail without bond for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia possession. A sheriff's department report says the deputy pulled over the vehicle Fields was driving for speeding on U.S. Route 34 at County Road 1350 East about 8:00 Tuesday night.

Lumbeck says authorities found a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine along with an assortment of pills in an envelope inside the vehicle.

Police also learned that Fields was allegedly driving on a suspended license. She's awaiting a bond hearing in Henderson County Circuit Court.
