New Governor May Be Cleaning House
Will Gov. Pat Quinn get rid of his predecessor's top staff? Quinn isn’t saying much, although plenty of politicians and state government workers would like to see Quinn clean house. Quinn hopes he doesn't have to. He says he has confidence that those top staffers of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich will do their jobs, and do them the right way. But he also acknowledges that position changes are possible.

State Sen. Larry Bomke (R-Springfield) hopes to see at least some people go. Bomke's district, which includes Springfield, includes many state government workers. He says if any of Blagojevich's top people were involved in activities that led to Blagojevich's arrest or charges, Bomke says "those people need to go."
