"Bob & Tom Show" Comedian Performs Sunday at Orpheum
The Orpheum Theatre says comedian and country music artist Tim Wilson will make a special Valentine's Day appearance on Sunday, February 14 at 7:30 pm. Also on the bill is "Last Comic Standing" finalist, Dale Jones.

Tim Wilson describes himself as "comedian, songwriter, philosopher, musicologist, theologian wanna be, curmudgeon, producer and Capitol Recording artist." All this from a son of school teachers growing up in Columbus, Georgia eating mustard sandwiches, playing Little League baseball, Pop Warner football and getting straight A's. "The rest," he says, "is a long story."

Audiences will get to hear Wilson's story on Valentine's Day with a performance that will no doubt include selections from his top selling comedy CDs such as "Church League Softball Fist Fight," "Hillbilly Homeboy," and "I Should've Married My Father In Law." A talented musician, Wilson has shared stages with Clint Black, Tanya Tucker, Righteous Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more. In addition to successful recording careers as comedian and musician, Wilson has also appeared as a guest star on such shows as NBC's The Tonight Show, ABC's Grace Under Fire, and CMT's Most Wanted Live.

Wilson can be heard regularly on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show, broadcast locally on Galesburg Broadcasting Company Station Pure Rock 92.7 FM The Laser.

Opener Dale Jones can also be heard on the Bob and Tom Radio Show, and was one of eight finalists in "The Great Canadian Laugh Off." Also a finalist on season six of Last Comic Standing, Jones is promoting his debut comedy album "Escape From Nashville."

Tickets for the February 14 show are $28.50. All seats are reserved. Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.theorpheum.org, by phone 309-342-2299 or in person at the Orpheum Theatre box off 250 East Main Street in Galesburg, IL.
