| Warren County Authorities Seek Info on Burglaries |
Authorities in Monmouth and Warren County are turning to the public for help in solving several burglaries that have occurred in the past month.
Warren County Crimestoppers says two separate residential burglaries in Monmouth and several motor vehicle burglaries remain under investigation. The first residential burglary police are working on occurred between January 16th and the 17th at 321 South E Street when someone forcibly entered the residence and stole jewelry.
Officials say another residential burglary took place at 207 North 2nd Street around 1:45 a-m. Police say someone forced their way into the residence, got into a confrontation with people living there and stole a purse.
The motor vehicle burglaries have taken place over the past few months and involved numerous cars at various locations in Monmouth. Authorities say a window is usually broken out and items removed, usually purses. The burglaries have typically taken place during daylight hours in parking lots.
Warren County deputies are also trying to locate a suspect or suspects in connection to a residential burglary. Authorities say items, which they didn't specify, were taken between February 8th and the 16th after someone entered a residence at 333 West Spruce Street in Little York.
Information provided to Warren County Crimestoppers that leads to an arrest and the filing of criminal charges is eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000. Callers do not have to give their name. The phone number is 734-9363. |
