IL GOP Governor's Race Still Undecided
CHICAGO (AP) -- Republican Kirk Dillard isn't ready to quit the Republican race for governor even though his campaign agrees he's trailing state Sen. Bill Brady for the GOP nomination.

Dillard campaign manager Tim Peters says Dillard won't make any decisions about conceding until they get official results from the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Wednesday is the deadline for the state's 110 local election authorities to declare their results and report them to the state. Illinois won't certify final election results until March 5.

The Feb. 2 GOP primary ended with Dillard trailing Brady by a few hundred votes.

The Brady camp says their tally shows Brady maintains a lead of nearly 250 votes.

The winner will face Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn in November.
