Last-Minute Push for Votes -- LOCAL ELECTION PREVIEW MONDAY AT 6PM ON WGIL
The candidates for governor are making their last push before Election Day.

Comptroller Dan Hynes, running in the Democratic primary, looks at his race vs. Gov. Pat Quinn as "a very close election" across all demographics and in all regions of the state.

Quinn and Hynes on Sunday both made the rounds of black churches in Chicago . Quinn also campaigned in Oak Brook and in Chicago's Puerto Rican business community. Hynes visited a gay bar in Chicago.

On the Republican side, Jim Ryan worked a church crowd in Schaumburg . State Sen. Bill Brady (R-Bloomington) attended a Lincoln Day lunch in Belvidere and went door-to-door in Arlington Heights. State Sen. Kirk Dillard (R-Hinsdale) didn't campaign on Sunday. His father, Edward Dillard, died on Saturday. He was 82. Dillard will resume his campaign Monday with stops in Peoria, Moline and Rockford.
