Future of Willits Primary Building Still Up in the Air
The future of the former Willits Primary School building in Monmouth is still being planned out. The school closed it's doors after the 2009-2010 school year and has since been in a state of transition.

Monmouth-Roseville Superintendent Paul Woehlke tells WGIL that several ideas for the building have been brought to the District 238 school board.

"Options or possibilities that were being looked at was whether the county had any interest in sharing use of the building with us for housing the Regional Office of Education and the county is currently in the process of determining what do with the location where the ROE currently has their office."

Currently, Warren County is looking into moving the Regional Office of Education to the former school building. The school district offices could be moved there as well.

All options are for the former Willits school building are under consideration.
