Still No "Pizza Summit"
A local congressman says he's still waiting to hear back from President Obama on something he pledged to do in the "State of the Union" Address.

The day after the address, Republican Bobby Schilling sent the President a letter taking him up on an invitation to meet with any congressman about health care reform.

Schilling tells the WGIL Morning News since he sent the President the letter, he's heard nothing.

"I really do believe that President Obama will come back to me. Since November the second for example, we've seen him really kind of shift over as he settles into the idea that the American people aren't happy with what's going on, that's why we got 87 new freshman members."

Schilling says especially following a national TV interview early in the week, his requested meeting with the President is being called the "Pizza Summit," since Schilling owns a pizzeria in East Moline.

He says he still sees the chance of meeting with the president an exciting opportunity.
