Dickson Mounds Museum to Host Eagle Festival
LEWISTOWN, Ill. (AP) -- Live birds of prey will be the stars of the Eagle Day Festival on Saturday at Dickson Mounds Museum in west-central Illinois.

Staff from Wildlife Prairie State Park will present an hour-long program at 10:30 a.m. and again at 2:30 p.m. at the free event. Activities for children will be provided by the Emiquon Audubon Society and Dickson Mounds Museum.

The museum is located between Lewistown and Havana off Illinois Routes 78 and 97.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources says free tickets for the birds of prey programs must be picked up in the museum lobby because seating is limited to 150.

Other activities are planned throughout the day, including the movie ``American Eagle,'' which will be shown in the museum auditorium at noon.
