Final Meth Suspect Makes First Court Appearance
49 year old Christine Vanvoltenburg was the last of four to make a first appearance in Knox County Circuit Court Monday.

Vanvoltenburg was arrested along with three other last month after police searched their Galesburg home and found drugs and guns.

Judge Scott Shiplett schedule Vanvoltenburg for a February 8th preliminary hearing, which is the same day and time as the three others she was arrested with.

Vanvoltenburg faces charges of Participation in meth manufacturing, aggravated participation in meth manufacturing, unlawful participation in meth production and unlawful possession of methamphetamine, all Class X felony charges.

She is also charged with meth related child endangerment, possession of meth manufacturing chemicals, and possession of a firearm without a FOID card.

Vanvoltenburg was arrested early January 21st when police executed a search warrant of a home in the 1000 block at Tamarind Drive.

23 year old Amy Vanvoltenburg, 27 year old Chad Vanvoltenburg, 21 year old Ashley Wilson were arrested as well and face similar charges.
