Court Appearances for Four Suspected in Abingdon Meth Lab
Four people arrested over the weekend after a methamphetamine lab was allegedly found in an Abingdon mobile home will be back in court later this week.

36-year old Thomas Shaw, and 27-year old Ashley Jones will be back in Knox County Circuit Court Friday morning, while 27-year olds Ronald Warden and Joshua Greens will be back Wednesday morning -- all with public defenders they were appointed during a hearing Monday afternoon.

The Knox County Sheriffs Department says they, along with Abingdon Police, Warren County Sheriffs Deputies, and the State Police Meth Response Team searched a mobile home in the three-hundred block of South East Street late Thursday night after discovering a strong odor coming from the residence, and discovered, quote, "numerous items commonly used in the manufacturing of meth."

Bonds of 25-thousand dollars each for Jones, Greene, and Warden were ordered to stand.

Shaw's bond was ordered to stand at 75-thousand dollars. He was found to be wanted on a Knox County Warrant and faces an additional charge of Unlawful Use of Property.

All four remain held in the Knox County Jail.
