City Council Looks to Approve Items From Last Meeting
The Galesburg City Council will meet Monday night with the hope of approving several items on final reading.

The last regularly scheduled City Council meeting saw each of the items on first reading, where discussion was had on one item in particular.

Raufeisen development planned to develop a proposal submitted to the City in October, but due to an inability to reach an agreement with local landowners, is requesting to develop in phases.

Criticism from neighborhood residents was had at the last meeting and more is expected before the items comes up for a vote tonight.

Aldermen will also look into a possible renewal of an agreement with DaCott Energy - who has been advising the City through the energy aggregation process.

The existing agreement will expire at the end of September. In addition, natural gas has now become deregulated for local governments, allowing the City to seek pricing in the near future.

Monday night's meeting begins at 5:30 in Council Chambers at Galesburg City Hall.
