Two local residents are facing several drug-related charges after police raided their home over the weekend.

The Galesburg Police Department says officers executed a search warrant at 212 Cottage Avenue around 9:30 Saturday morning. Authorities say they seized 5 grams of methamphetamine, two firearms and $4,930 in cash.

Officials took 32-year olds Rickie Lester and Jessica Woolsey into custody on preliminary charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, drug paraphernalia possession, criminal fortification of a residence and possession of firearms with no FOID card.

Lester and Woolsey are currently lodged in the Knox County Jail awaiting court appearances.
