Registration Open for CSC Cyber Camp for Teachers
Carl Sandburg College will host Cyber Camp 2010 for K-12 teachers June 17 and 18 at the Main Campus in Galesburg. The two-day non-residential technology camp will be packed with information and technology tools for K-12 teachers to use in their classrooms.

"A Classroom that Fosters Innovation" is the topic of this year's camp. Workshops will address the issues of how to use technology to motivate students to make them innovators who will succeed in the 21st century.

The registration fee of $75 includes admission to all classes of choice, camp materials, breakfast, lunch and snacks. Register by June 4 at www.sandburg.net or call (309) 341-5286.

Class topics for Cyber Camp 2010 will include:

-Using SmartBoard
-Using social networking to promote innovation in the classroom
-Internet safety for students and teachers
-Efficient online research and using NoodleTools
-Google apps for the classroom
-Cyber bullying
-Digital photography for the classroom
-Increasing interactivity and sharing of PowerPoint
-Technology tips and tricks
-Free Moodle learning system for your classroom
