Fire Rips Through Warren County Residence -- SEND US YOUR PICTURES
Several firefighters from at least four departments battled a house fire near Gerlaw that apparently claimed the home.

The fire, reported to authorities around 5:30 p-m Monday, broke out at 90th Street and 260th Avenue. The residence was reportedly unoccupied at the time and nobody was hurt.

Crews from the Alexis Fire Protection District, Gerlaw, North Henderson and Monmouth responded to the blaze. A spokesperson at the Monmouth Fire Department says a tanker and two firefighters from there were sent to assist. The Alexis Fire Protection District is believed to be heading up the investigation.

Attempts to obtain more information from the department have, so far, been unsuccessful.
