Two Women Injured in East Moline Fire
EAST MOLINE, Ill. (AP) -- East Moline Fire Chief Rob DeFrance says a house fire caused by the explosion of an oxygen tank has injured two women.

DeFrance says one woman, later identified as Peggy Cassidy, was burned in the fire Wednesday morning and taken to Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus. DeFrance says Cassidy was possibly airlifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City, but a spokesperson was unable to provide any information.

The homeowner, Dorothy McKeown, was treated and released from Genesis for smoke inhalation.
