MAP Grant Deadline Extended
Knox College is getting out an important message out to its students about their MAP grant applications in an announcement made Monday.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission, or ISAC, announced that they will stop awarding 2011-2012 Monetary Award Program grants to students who haven't filed their FAFSA papers.
Knox College Director of Financial Aid Anne Brill tells WGIL they have already been working on giving this information out to their students.

"We did contact them through a number of avenues, one of which was through email, one of which was by a phone call - an automated phone call, by updating our website in numerous places with a message being on the homepage."

Brill also stated it is difficult to tell just how many students who might miss the deadline.
