Motor Fuel Tax Projects on Knoxville Agenda
Fixing Henderson Road and resurfacing other roads in Knoxville was a topic of discussion at Monday's city council meeting.

A newer technique called micro surfacing is being considered to even out Henderson Road.

Knoxville Street Superintendent Tom Meyers explained that using this technique could buy some time before major fixes need to be made.

"Two to three years is what it will hold together, we are just trying to buy a little time in getting enough money together to put resurfacing down through Henderson Road, at least part of it."

The resolution for the projects will be discussed more at a later meeting.
Also discussed at the meeting was the no parking ordinance at Mable Woolsey Elementary School.
