Stink Bugs Found in Chicago Area
AURORA, Ill. (AP) -- Smelly stink bugs are in Illinois.

The Beacon-News in Aurora reports that the bugs have been found in the Chicago suburbs of Geneva and Western Springs. The brown marmorated bugs release a stench when they're frightened or squashed. They previously have been found in the mid-Atlantic region.

The Illinois Cooperative Agricultural Pest Survey program found Geneva homeowners found an infestation last fall. The bugs were found in a Western Springs yard in January.

Authorities say the bugs also have been spotted in other areas of Illinois. Officials describe the Chicago-area sightings as ``very low level.''
