No Sparkly Vampires Here
Vampires have come to Galesburg.

Saturday horror author Terry Durbin was signing copies of his book "The Legend of Aaron Geist" at Stone Alley Books and Collectables.

Durbin tells WGIL that his vampires don't date teenagers, like the Twilight series, but have a special quality to them.

"I like my books to feel like an old time county fair; I like them to be comfortable, I want them to be a thrill ride. Horror is what I grew up reading; Ray Bradberry, Edgar Allan Poe, H.B. Lovecraft, so that's what I kind of morphed into as an adult; as a writer myself, a horror writer.

Durbin is a local author and resides in Burlington, Iowa.
