Man Pleads Guilty to Abingdon Meth Lab
FIRST REPORTED 3:00pm 3/16/12 A 36-year-old Abingdon man is going to prison for four years after pleading guilty for participation in methamphetamine production.

Knox County Circuit Court Records indicate Thomas Shaw struck a plea deal with the judge Thursday, allowing for the dismissal of three other meth-related charges.

Authorities a month ago discovered a suspected methamphetamine lab in an Abingdon mobile home in the 300 block of South East Street. The alleged lab was linked to Thomas and three others.

27-year-old Ashley Jones is one of those also accused and was in court yesterday. She's charged with unlawful possession of meth-precursors, possession of meth-manufacturing chemicals, and unlawful use of property. Circuit Court records show Jones' bond was reduced Thursday from $75,000 to $30,000.

27-year-old Joshua Greene hasn't yet posted bond and is scheduled for an arraignment hearing next week. 27-year-old Ronald Warden has already been ordered to an Impact Incarceration Program, an alternative to prison.
