Downtown Restaurant Santorum Campaign Stop
A well-known downtown Galesburg restaurant will become a campaign stop of sorts for one Republican presidential candidate.

The Illinois campaign for Rick Santorum confirms to WGIL that Santorum will be in Galesburg around six o'clock Monday night having dinner at Chez Willy's.

It will be a reasonably brief stop for Santorum, however, because the stop will be inbetween a campaign event that ends at five o'clock in Moline,and another at 6:30pm at Davis Brothers Pizza in Peoria.

The Mitt Romney campaign, meanwhile, will be in Peoria Monday for two campaign stops: one at Bradley University, and another that's a fundraiser for 18th District Congressman Aaron Schock at Finish Line Ford in Peoria.

Romney did interviews with several Quad Cities T-V stations Sunday.

Another presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich, has no campaign appearances scheduled in Illinois, nor does Ron Paul.

Santorum's campaign had previously said the stop in Galesburg would be at an undisclosed location due to Secret Service reasons. They insisted that Monday morning until learning that other forms of media had already publicized the stop.
