Authorities Bust Up Drug Distribution Operation Near Area High School
State Police say three people are in custody, accused of being part of a drug operation that centered itself around a Henry County high school.

State Police say 19-year old Erasmo Gandarilla-Guerrero, 22-year old Luis Cervantes, and 19-year old Andy Castillo all face criminal charges of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a school, while all but Castillo face charges of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Cannabis.

Troopers say they along with the help of several Henry County agencies, executed three search warrants early Thursday, and ended up seizing 139 grams of suspected cocaine, 224 grams of suspected cannabis, a car, and one rifle by Kewanee High School.

The three are all Kewanee residents, and are being held in the Henry County Jail. Guerrero's bond has been set at one million dollars, Cervantes' at a half-million, and Castillo's at a quarter-million. Cervantes is also accused of having a fake I-D card.

Several of the charges are Class-X felonies, and could result in up to 30 years in prison if convicted on each charge.
