Light Agenda for Galesburg City Council Monday Night
It should be a reasonably easy night for the Galesburg City Council Monday evening.

No major items of note are on Monday's City Council agenda. The Council will have a closed-door session at 5:30 tonight to discuss negotiating matters.

But then, aldermen will consider a couple of purchases later on -- one for a new dump truck to replace an older one, along with the appropriate snow plow equipment to go along with it.

The City Council will also consider purchasing some other new snow-related equipment as well.

And they'll consider demolitions on four properties, while also considering the rezoning of two properties at 682 Harrison Street from B-1 to B-2.

The City Council's regular meeting is open to the public, and starts at 6:30 Monday night at City Hall.
