Construction Scope on School Board Agenda
There seems to be a fair amount of work to be done at the District 205 Board of Education Meeting Monday night.

After spending time last Monday looking over the Master Facilities Construction design for the new High School, the Implementation and Building Committee was informed they were 600-thousand dollars over budget.

They decided to remove several items from the original design and add them to the alternate bids instead.

By removing two side-walks and two doors at the proposed new athletic facility, they were able to meet the 15-point-seven-million dollar budget.

Both Committees agreed on the updated design and voted to send it onto the full board.

The measure is scheduled to be voted on at Monday night's meeting.

Other items up for discussion include the approval of a Lunch price increase and Early Enrollment for Kindergarten.

The meeting begins at 7 o'clock at Lincoln Education Center Board Room.
