TV Show to Honor Ryan Maxwell
It's likely that seven-year-old Ryan Maxwell's favorite television show will honor him in a way he would likely love.

A Facebook campaign Tuesday and Wednesday through Galesburg radio station "The Laser" told of how Maxwell -- who died Sunday due to a pitbull attack -- loved the show "Finding Bigfoot," and encouraged others to contact the show to urge some sort of tribute to Maxwell.

The Laser's Chris LaGrow told family friend Dori Oberman Thursday, it worked.

"I want to push this through, and at this point just need to get in touch with a family member, to have them give me their consent. I am sure they are going through a lot right now, so a simple e-mail from one of the family members would suffice. I have an episode, which I am finishing up in production in the next day or so, and would love to include [a dedication] in this episode."

That's from an e-mail conversation producers had with LaGrow.

No word on when such an episode would air.

Teachers and Maxwell's classmates at Nielson elementary school Wednesday wore red -- Maxwell's favorite color -- in support of him.

Funeral services are Thursday.
