Galesburg Men Jailed in Warren County on Methamphetamine Charges
POSTED 11:00 a.m. 4/27/09, UPDATED 1:24 p.m. 4/27/09 Two local men are in custody in Warren County following their arrests on methamphetamine related charges.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards says the arrests were the result of a Department of Corrections compliance check Sunday afternoon at 1687 255th Avenue in Kelly Township, located in Warren County.

Deputies took 29-year old Eric Seideman of the 255th Avenue address into custody on multiple charges that include unlawful participation in meth production, possession of methamphetamine precursors, possession of anhydrous ammonia, meth possession and possession of meth with intent to deliver. Authorities also arrested 30-year old Brian Scott of Galesburg on similar charges after they located him on the property.

Edwards says police seized $2,400 in cash, methamphetamine product and materials believed to be associated with the drug. The Illinois State Police Meth Response Team was called to the scene to conduct clean-up efforts and secure evidence.

Seideman and Scott are being held in the Warren County Jail pending bond hearings.
